5 Steps to Ease Anxiety

When you find yourself having anxious thoughts, follow these 5 steps to calm down.

  1. Take a deep breath

  2. Shake out your body and all of your anxious and negative thoughts

  3. Go to a place you feel safe (ie your room or a reading nook)

  4. Make a list of all the reasons the thing that made you anxious, shouldn't

  5. Finally, do something you enjoy: watching your favorite show, reading your favorite book, etc
